So I know previously I have struggled with protein intake, as much as you all have, and it is so important to us when working out and recovery.

Just creating a wee post to see what we can take for a higher protein intake, excluding your meats and fishes.

What is your protein snack go to?

If sharing, try to share the protein amount.

@Daniel Kyle you could maybe give a few suggestions ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here is a few of mine

Keeping protein as whole and lean via meat and dairy is gonna be your first and best bet. An extra bacon medallion at breakfast or chucking more bolognese and less pasta on your plate is often all that's needed.

With regards to snacks it's Easy to fall into marketing pitfalls with packaging making shiny claims.

Here is some tips to narrow the field.

-there are 4 cals per gram of protein so if something says 20g of protein then only 80cals account for that. I've often bought products that are 250cal bars where only 80cals consist of protein meaning I just squandered 170cals on fats and carbs that I could have used elsewhere in my budget.

-although snacks are easy and convenient they often are small and not that filling so try and get the most volume you can for the least cals. Low fat yoghurt is a decent shout here as you get a lot of volume for low cals and can add more simply by clicking some fruit in too.
